The company announced the introduction of a new Spaces creator program. The three-month Spark initiative attempts to “find and reward great Spaces on Twitter with financial, technical, and marketing help.” Twitter encourages audio makers to apply for the initiative, saying it is available to both established Spaces audio broadcasts and experimental experiments.
- Since the debut of Spaces, Twitter has made it clear that its audio product would not be another test feature that will be phased out.
- Anyone accepted into the Spark program is required to run an audio room twice a week for the duration of the three-month program.
- Participants will get paid $2,500 per month at a flat rate that isn’t affected by the Space’s performance and monthly ad credits to help promote their show.
